Join AHA! for Part 2 of the “I am New Bedford” Storytelling Series! This second night of a two-part curated storytelling series will highlight under-told and lesser-known stories of New Bedford with a focus on Women’s History. Enjoy a program full of fascinating, moving, and creative stories from a variety of local people including Lee Blake, Hendrick Hernandez-Resto, Liz DiCarlo, a duo from Your Theatre, and more! Music throughout the evening and special performance by singer/songwriter Sarah Donner. Hosted by spoken word poet Jamilyn Soares. Curated stories go from 5:30 – 6:30pm with a kickoff from a youth storyteller. After a ten-minute intermission, share your own story during Open Mic hour! Sign up at the Welcome Desk.
