The second in our Artist Led Workshop Series with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, we are joined by Dartmouth artist Janice Kissinger from 12pm-4pm.
This 4 hour workshop with Annie Sloan chalk paints will center on decorative imagery on thrifted lamps and lampshades (you may bring your own if you’d like). Each participant will complete their own design (with inspiration from Janice’s sample). We will incorporate as many of Annie Sloan’s line of paints, and accessory items as needed to achieve wonderful piece of functional art!
Janice Kissinger is a multifaceted artist, based in Dartmouth, MA, whose creations range from hand-dyed and felted garments to custom-painted home items. She is an incredibly thoughtful and experimental artist, weaving her love of textiles, prints, and color into all of her pieces. She has shown her work across the United States, including at the Smithsonian Fine Craft Show, the Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show, the American Craft Exposition in Chicago.
