AHA! New Bedford Wants to Hear from You: take part in the upcoming Community Meeting and Survey

AHA! New Bedford is inviting New Bedford residents, workers, and supporters to participate in a meeting to discuss the future of downtown New Bedford. On September 30th, hear about the current trends in downtown, share your vision, and discuss the strategies to get there. This community meeting will be held from 5-7:00 pm at the First Unitarian Church’s Tryworks Auditorium

This community meeting is part of AHA! New Bedford’s expanded role to facilitate conversations about management services for downtown New Bedford. During the meeting, attendees will hear from a local business owner about their experience during the current economic climate. Andre Leroux from MassINC will also present key findings from his report District Management for Downtown Vitality. A Q&A session will follow. The community will also be invited to sign up for additional focus group meetings that will take place in October and November.

Pizza and refreshments will be served beginning at 5:00 pm, with the presentation starting at 5:30 pm.

This meeting is free and open to the public.
