The mission of 3rd EyE is to: 
Engage and empower youth to become leaders to positively transform their community; Build a movement to improve the community, centered around the principles of economic and social equality, with young people being an instrumental part of that movement in roles of leadership and action; Increase levels of understanding, awareness, confidence, self-esteem, and hope in youth through providing opportunities, mentoring, creative outlets, and resources; and, Unite young people, using Hip Hop, a common cultural art form and voice for the people, to engage and empower youth to positively change themselves and their community.

Located in the heart of downtown, BCC New Bedford offers a wide range of programs and state-of-the-art facilities in a unique, vibrant, waterfront setting. Everything you would expect to find at BCC can be found conveniently on the New Bedford Campus, which is housed in two buildings downtown: 800 Purchase Street and 188 Union Street. That means you’ll have full access to tutoring labs, support services, a library, bookstore, cyber café, and the most modern computer labs around. In particular, BCC New Bedford takes pride in being a hub for the Health Sciences. You’ll find innovative programming, like eHealthCareers and training labs that are as close to the “real thing” as possible.

The DOLC mission is to advance personal and career goals of South Coast residents through innovation, education and mentoring. This is primarily done through their Creative Careers Program, which uses creative writing, graphic design, music, theater and video production to inspire a healthy and vibrant community. The DOLC center provides a supportive environment for both youth and adults who are pursuing a creative path and/or career.

Conveniently located in the heart of historic downtown New Bedford, the New Bedford YMCA offers a wide variety of activities for all ages. This 60,000 square feet facility includes an indoor swimming pool, racquetball courts, indoor running track, stadium stairs, rock climbing wall, two gymnasiums, youth and adult wellness centers,  swimming lessons, land and water aerobics, yoga, pilates, spinning classes, preschool and after school childcare, babysitting and family prime time.
