Celebrate the planet on AHA! Night!

Make your Earth Day statement and experience the fun during AHA! Night: Project Planet. There are several ways to participate.
1) Join the Procession: 5:00 – 6:15 PM
Show your love and creativity for mother earth with anything that a person or group can wear, roll or carry along the procession route. The only requirements are that you must not use fossil fuels, it must honor the Earth, and you must be mindful of the 3R’s – reduce, reuse and recycle. The procession passes over cobblestone streets and takes place rain or shine!
2) Table at the Celebration: 5:00 – 7:00 PM
This year we are offering space on a first come first served basis to planet friendly, community and environmental organizations that wish to do community outreach at Custom House Square. Your group needs to provide an interactive activity in addition to sharing information about your mission to help New Bedford reduce waste, conserve resources, and support sustainable practices. Please provide your own table/chairs.
3) Donate to the raffle prize(s)
We will be holding a raffle to entice the public to visit each table and stay to enjoy the celebration and parade. We will be securing prizes from local businesses and would welcome an item(s) from participating organizations as well.
