Sacred Birthing Village is a Black women-led, community-rooted care ecosystem restoring the village through relationship, shared responsibility, and communal care. Rooted in Black maternal liberation, reproductive justice, birth equity, ancestral wisdom, and the midwifery model of care, SBV works to expand access, support, and community participation around birth, family, and wellness while helping steward and preserve culturally rooted birth options and care practices. Through Web of Care circles, community activations, SisterKeeping, birthworker formation, and relational support systems, we are rebuilding the conditions where care is no longer carried alone, but practiced collectively across generations.
