The Artists Index, Inc. is a nonprofit whose mission is to document the legacies of South Coast artists by honoring the lives, professions, and contributions of historical and contemporary artists. By doing so, we maintain the cultural sustainability of our phenomenal creative community.
Our podcasts offer up close and personal conversations with the makers, performers, supporters, and cultural impresarios of our remarkable creative communities of the South Coast as both entertainment and a source of information. We attract contemporary artists to come forward and search for stories and evidence about the forgotten, undocumented, and unheralded voices of the historical artists who lived, worked, or were educated here.
